Zinc for acne is a widely debated topic and many people are still confuse over how effective zinc can help deal with acne. (...)

Zinc for acne is a widely debated topic and many people are still confuse over how effective zinc can help deal with acne. There are 2 schools of thoughts over here and most dermatologists do not agree that zinc can help with curing acne.

But there are lots of recent researches that are conducted on regards of how zinc and help to improve acne condition and majority of them produced positive results. There is 1 big similarity between antibiotics and zinc, that is they both consist of properties that can help kill off acne bacteria but zinc does not pose any long term health implications like antibiotic.

Zinc can be found in most of our food and some examples are mushrooms, chamomile, soybeans and sunflower seeds. We will need to ensure that we have enough zinc in our diet because it plays a big role in keeping us healthy, supports our body essential functions and kills bacteria.

What can having enough zinc help with acne?

1 of the main causes of acne is because of hormonal imbalance that leads to the excess production of sebum. However when there is sufficient amount of zinc in our diet, it can help to regulate our hormones level and fight the bacteria that causes acne. Taking essential fatty acids such as fish oil with zinc will make this treatment much more effective.

Having adequate amount of zinc minerals in our body will also promotes wound healing and it also .

How to make sure that zinc for acne works?

In our modern day diet, most of the foods that we eat are lacking nutrients. To ensure that you have adequate amount of zinc in your diet, it is advisable that you take zinc supplements along with your normal diet.

You will have to take note of the points below to make sure that you are able to absorb zinc minerals effectively. You will have to avoid taking minerals along with zinc as it can reduce the absorption rate of zinc. Some examples of minerals that reduce the absorbtion rate of zinc will be copper and iron. It is recommended that you avoid taking other minerals supplement along zinc supplements.

When you are perspiring, zinc is lost through your perspiration. So if you perspire easily, take in more zinc supplements. Always keep in mind not to take over 100 mg of zinc supplements as it can be toxic for your body.

Zinc for acne can help to cure your acne. Even though it can help you to drastically improve your skin condition, it is still not a permanent cure for acne since acne is due to lots of other factors that I cannot go into details in just 1 article. One last tip I have for you is to adopt the holistic approach of curing acne.

It is the only way you can cure acne permanently in the shortest amount of time as the methods will remove the root problems that causes acne which conventional methods don't. Another advantage of adopting the holistic approach of healing acne is that there isn't any side effects as all methods are using 100% natural ingredients.

WARNING Don't Take Antioxidants

Did You Know…

…that taking high doses of antioxidant supplements — such as beta carotene, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and selenium — does not reduce the risk of acquiring diseases, but has also been shown to be poisonous to the human body and may even increase the risk of death?

As long ago as the 1950s, antioxidants became known as miracle supplements because they "reportedly" promoted good health and prevented a host of diseases, including cancer

and age-related diseases. According to some estimates, approximately 50% of the adult population in the U.S. take antioxidants on a daily basis for this reason.

Here's a wake-up call: Every long-term study involving antioxidant supplementation provides proof that people get sicker — not healthier — when they take antioxidants. In fact,

beta carotene, vitamin A, and vitamin E, taken individually or in combination with other antioxidant supplements, are associated with increased all-cause mortality. [Source: The

Journal of the American Medical Association - based on 68 randomized trials with 232,606 participants (385 publications).]

In case you were wondering … this information is not just another propaganda employed by the medical and pharmaceutical industries to prevent people from using natural

therapies, or to deceive people into thinking that drugs are the only solution to disease.

Over the last several decades, supplement manufacturers (and even health practitioners) have urged people to take large amounts of antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Vitamin

E because scientists had observed that people whose diets were rich in fruits and vegetables had a lower incidence of heart disease, diabetes, dementia, stroke and certain types of

cancer. They formed the hypothesis that since fruits and vegetables are a rich source of antioxidants (which neutralize free radicals in the body), then taking antioxidant

supplements would have the same effect.

That hypothesis has been proven wrong. Here's why: http://scrnch.me/82ya4

Fruits and vegetables produce antioxidants for good reason — that is, to protect themselves from oxidative stress. Without antioxidants, oxygen destroys food by combining with

elements and burning them up — hence, vitamin destruction in food (or decay) occurs.

However, dietary antioxidants have virtually no nutritional benefit to the human body. Antioxidants such as ascorbic acid and tocopherols, for instance, are not essential nutrients

– and as such, they should not even be called vitamins at all.

While antioxidants serve their purpose WITHIN a fruit or vegetable, in the human body, they only disrupt normal oxidative reactions in the cell. This is why they are dangerous

to consume (except in the minute amounts ingested from food).

In summary, if you want to stave off disease and premature aging, there is no substitute to eating fruits and vegetables that are rich in antioxidants instead of taking antioxidant

supplements. http://scrnch.me/82ya4
Think-Outside-the-Book Publishing LLC

The microdermabrasion technique is being put to use for a lot of skin treatments. Today, many women are using at home microdermabrasion for stretch mark removal also. (...)

The microdermabrasion technique is being put to use for a lot of skin treatments. Today, many women are using at home microdermabrasion for stretch mark removal also. However, if you are contemplating on using microdermabrasion for stretch mark removal too, you need to know a few things about it before you start. The first thing you need to know is that the procedure varies here in comparison with its implementation for other skin problems.

Though the principle remains the same-we are speaking about the technique of microdermabrasion here-there is a lot of difference in the way the results are brought about.

To understand that, you need to first know how stretch signs are formed. During pregnancy, there are several hormonal imbalances within the woman's body. Some of these imbalances interfere with the production of collagen, the substance that keeps the skin taut and healthy. Due to that, the new skin that the woman gets during her pregnancy is much less elastic and flexible than her usual skin. This skin tears easily. When it does, the stretch signs appear.

So, how does microdermabrasion help in removing stint sign? Like with other microdermabrasion treatments, even here the technique is used to scrape off any skin cells that are not consistent with the remaining skin surface. The procedure is done till the stint signs level with the rest of the skin surface. As a result, they become much less visible, almost to the point of not being noticed.

Now, here is where the difference lies. All the other areas where at home microdermabrasion is used-such as acne treatments, scar treatments and such-are used to remove the skin cells that are above the usual skin surface. However, with stretch mark removal, the motive is to remove a blemish that is sunken within the skin, i.e. below the usual skin surface.

Is microdermabrasion capable to remove that effectively? The answer is yes. The way it works is by removing the ridges that exist on both sides of the stretch mark. If you imagine the stretch mark as a valley, the abrasion procedure used here is to tone down the entire valley so that the whole region comes to the same level. That's what is done with the stretch mark. When the ridges come to the same level as the deepest point of the stretch mark-the fissure-the entire mark becomes unnoticeable.

You can safely use at home microdermabrasion for stretch marks and see good results too. However, make sure you learn the technique properly before using it on yourself.

Myths about acne:

a. Washing face often is good to cure acne.
It is only recommended for you to wash face only once or twice a day. Over-washing face can lead skin to dryness and irritation.

b. Sex and masturbation can cause acne.
Acne can affect during puberty and hormonal imbalance. It has nothing to do with sex or mastubration. Until today, there is no scientific evidence that can show correlation between sex/masturbation and acne.

c. The sun will help cure your acne.
In fact, the sun can make your skin dry. More dangerous, the sun's rays can cause cancer and premature aging. Always use sunblock to protect your skin.

d. Popping pimples is good to take away your acne faster.
never pop your pimples. You can push dead skin cells, bacteria and oil deeper. And the worst, it can leave permanent scar to your face.

e. Don't wear make up if you want to cure your acne.
As long you don't wear heavy make up, it doesn't matter. But, if you find your cosmetics irritating your skin, you should change it and ask your dermatologist for the best solutions.

f. Use medication to stop acne breakouts.
Using too much medication can make your skin dry because it contains drying agents such as salycilid acyd and benzoil eroxide.

g. Chocolate can cause acne.
Chocolate has nothing to do with acne. Otherwise, antioxidant in chocolate is good for your skin. However, it is recommended for you to reduce eating milk chocolate. Pure chocolate is the best one.

Many businesses, and companies promote and sell acne products. (...)

Many businesses, and companies promote and sell acne products. But, they have not experienced what it is like first- hand the emotional horror, the loss of self-esteem, or the embarrassment that acne can bring. Do they tell you that many of the products, and medicines you see advertised on television, magazines, and infomercials won't be able over the long haul to get rid of your acne? Think about it. By researching, reputable medical articles or by reading information given by pharmaceutical companies, you will find that it is not uncommon for the skin to become dry, red, and irritated when beginning to use acne medications. Plus the fact, that more than likely it could take weeks or over a month before you would see any improvement, and your acne could get worse before it starts getting better. Now, don't get me wrong here, some individuals may see improvement in their acne during their first month after using a prescribed acne drug…but, then again, many of the prescribed medications (topical agents) for acne will make your pimples look worse in the early stages of treatment, usually during the first 3 – 4 weeks.

Another risk that we don't want to forget, is the side effects of acne drugs. These side effects can be dangerous, but many individuals still try using prescription aids hoping that the benefits will out weigh the side effects. And in most cases, the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) only allows the use of medications like "Accutane", in individuals who have moderate to severe acne conditions due to the potential risks!

Some acne medications will clear acne in more than half of the people who use the drugs, but then you must add that to the cost of doctor visits, acne treatment, over -the-counter remedies, and prescription drugs. If your a teenager, the cost can be significantly higher, because teens have the most visits to the dermatologists, and prescriptions for medication to treat acne. Side effects such as dry skin, initial flare up of acne during treatment, fatigue, headache, and vomiting alone may keep some individuals from seeking treatment.

Many individuals see the side effects as bearable, when looking at the benefits. This is attributed to the increase in self-esteem, and not to feel awkward or shy in social situations because of feelings of concern that someone is looking at your acne rather than focusing on who you are. But, relieving acne should not control the decision of putting yourself at risk for painful health problems. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not a doctor, and do not have a medical degree. I'm not advising you or giving you medical advice, and I don't recommend that you stop taking any drugs except on the advice of your doctor. As your doctor sees you getting better, he will reduce and eventually stop your medication. However, what I want to share with you are these risks, and side effects of common acne treatments. I would recommend researching all treatment options, and weigh for yourself the risks vs. benefits before selecting a fast, safe, and cost effective way to treat your acne.

Acnezine Tips for Day to Day Acne Care

Acnezine treatment for your acne should be accompanied by a healthy skin care routine.

Wash the affected area twice a day with mild soap. Use soap such as Dove, or one that contains benzoyl peroxide, such as Oxy-5. Wash as often necessary to keep the area clean. Do not scrub.

Shampoo the hair regularly.

Keep long hair off the face and shoulders and wash it daily.

Avoid shaving as much as possible; while shaving take care to avoid nicking the pimples.

Use a fresh shaving blade to minimize the chance of spreading the infection.

Avoid use of make-up or cosmetics in areas prone to acne. If you have to wear make-up, use only the hypoallergenic or fragrance free kind.

Don't pop, pick, scratch, or squeeze your pimples. This may cause infection and scarring.

You may use an over-the-counter treatment that contain substances such as benzoyl peroxide (gel or cream) or salicyclic acid. Start with the lowest strength and apply once a day about half an hour after washing. Never use more than 5 percent strength without consulting a physician.

Food and Nutrition Recommendations for Acne:Some doctors believe that acne is not a food related problem. Some alternate practitioners use diet as a basis for their treatment of acne. They recommend that acne patients should eat foods high in beta-carotene, such as carrots, pumpkin, cantaloupe and other yellow-orange fruits and vegetables. They should also avoid fatty foods. Acnezine controls the oil secretion in your body to protect your skin from getting acne prone.

Vitamin Therapy for Acne:Nutritionists generally suggest:Chromium supplements – Chromium helps boosts the body's ability to break down glucose.Vitamin A – reduces sebum and keratin production. (Caution: taking mega doses of Vitamin A can cause headaches, fatigue, muscle and joint pain and other side effects. Consult a qualified practitioner before taking mega supplements).Vitamin E – an antioxidant (200 to 400 IU a day).Vitamin B-6 50 mg per day. This vitamin aids in the metabolism of hormones and supports the function of Acnezine as well.

Note: People should not try to medicate themselves or others with any of the methods referred to here without the guidance of a qualified practitioner who is thoroughly familiar with both the remedies and the individual’s medical status. Acnezine is an antioxidant, natural product without any side effect that reduces acne.
