WOW-great video. So sorry you had to go through that!
You seem like such a sweet person. Love your vids.I will recommend this for my friend-she has bad acne and scarring that she gets very depressed over at times. BTW, what is your nationality?
I always had nice skin but when I was pregnant with my daughter I got the worst acne ever. It went away after but I was really self conscious about it when I had it. My 16 yr old son has really bad acne and I'm going to see if I could get him this lotion. Thank you for sharing the with us
P.S. Your skin looks radiant.
Hey DarkBridget, thanks for watching and thanks for the nice things you said. I hope your friend has the same success I had using this product. I can totally relate to being depressed over it, trust me, I was too…extremely! But all is better now.
I am a Dominican lady
Hey Delidee, your comment just goes to prove what I said about acne not having any age boundaries or circumstances. I'm glad things cleared up, though! I hope it works out for your son as well. If you haven't already, go to my website and click on the article that has tips for healthy skin. Your son could benefit from that as well.
Thanks for the compliment and thanks for staying tuned!
Eyeshadow, what kind of skin do you have? I have dry, sensitive skin and have tried proactiv, clean and clear ETC. which made my skin sooo much worse. So i'm figuring out what works for me and what doesnt.
I have no idea how I missed saying what type of skin I have in the video! lol I have oily skin for the most part. Being that you have dry and sensitive, if you decide to give this product a try, use it as a spot treatment instead of all over, which is how it's supposed to be used.
What cleanser are you using now? And what do you moisturize with?
I was on Clean and Clear Advantage kit but seen no improvement so I am just using clean and clear regular face wash with witch hazel toner and acnezone spot treatment. I just started on it so it's still early to see improvements. I have cystic acne too.
Clean & Clear Advantage worked out for my friend Kami, she actually left a review for it on my site. But the same thing won't work out for everyone
I would say stick to what you're using right now for about 2 months to see if it works. If not, are you willing to spend money on brands that aren't found in drugstores? I have a couple of suggestions if you do.
yeah i'm pretty much open to anything to getting clear skin! i'm just being careful with what ingredients is in what i'm using since i have sensitive skin. no oil-free stuff because i know it dries out my skin really bad and break out more.
I'm going to suggest Kiehl's "Centella Skin-Calming Facial Cleanser". I own it myself and I can honestly say it's very good, and I think you will especially benefit from using it because it's alcohol-, fragrance-, dye- and soap-free. It costs about $28.50. Right now you need to cleanse with something that is gentle and contains no harsh coctail of ingredients. Centella would be perfect!
how long does a bottle of this last you?
I think I've had the full size bottle for about 4 or 5 months because all I need to use is a pump and a half every time I use it. I am just getting through with it.
oh…dr.brandt product is so great!im using dr.brandt more than 1 yrs.
Angie, I finally bought this product today… will review it on esc as soon as I see results!
Dr Brandt have another product called Lineless Gel, its meant to be for all skintypesm but mostly for dry and sensitive skin. or ask the people working in the beauty store
I just got the porless gel yesterday and i will start using it first time in the morning, for me its only a product i use to maintain my skin or the areas with might be damaged by blackheads or stuff
thank you so much for posting this and being transparent about it. I really appreciate it and ordered the gel on Saturday:)
i watched your video 2 months ago and emailed drbrandt's website to request a sample. they were really nice and sent me samples of the poreless gel and now i'm online buying a bottle. it has worked and i'm so excited bc i've been battling severe acne / cystic acne for the past 2 yrs bc of hormones/stress/diet. thank you!
i have a similiar problem but have been dealing with it for about 10 years…did you have scarring or any hyperpigmentation? did u get any peels or you anything ??
xsalee: You have no idea how happy it makes me to read your response! You did the right thing by using a sample before buying. There's a 50/50 chance of it working for everyone and I'm excited that you were part of the positive 50 : )
Indeed I did have scarring! When I finally got the pimples to disappear, you could see just deep red spots all over the areas that had acne, not to mention dents
The way I fixed the scars was with Caudalie's Vinoperfect Radiance Serum (pricey, but removes scars and clarifies skintone all together). And the dents? Well, couldn't do much about that
I just prime my face before applying makeup to make it appear smoother. Do you pick at your pimples? Try not to if you do.
ok,Ill take a look into that product,thanks =)
No,I learned in middle school to not touch my face at all. very hard you know?
Dr. Brandt is the best! =)
I also have a very bad scin and so I decided to try Dr. Brandt.
Now, I have the whole poreless line (cleanser, tone, gel, moisture, peeling, mask and the cream "pore effect")…
I hope, it will work, because it was very expensive (in Germany the products are more expensive, I don't know, why…) =(
Has anyone else any experiences with Dr. Brandt?
I used witch hazel/sea breeze oil removing astrigent on cotton which I held to the pimple for a minute or two and then put the poreless gel over it for the night, the reduction was crazy!! Its been about 3 days and its gone. I do believe for the best results, combine cleaning the area for a minute with an oil removing astringent and then patch it up with the poreless gel. instead of using it on my entire face I save it for the spots. For the scarring, Mederma then your back to flawless!!!!!
I really appreciate you sharing your tip! Hope it helps others out there : )
