Review: Acnomel Acne Vanishing Cream
Retails for around CAD. I haven't found this anywhere except for Wal-Mart. Make sure to look in the health and beauty area where they keep stuff like shampoo and mouthwash.. it's located in small section stocked with acne care products. Acnomel – The most effective over-the-counter acne medication you can buy. Acnomel fights break-outs before and during occurances, eliminating existing blemishes and helping to prevent future breakouts. Deep cleans pores and absorbs excess oil to let clear …

you should do more tutorials on how you put on makeup! you have a very pretty face, you should adorn it for fun! Oh and more DIYs lol
u can use salicylic acid as a preventative treatment. SA is good for preventing whiteheads and black heads, BUT not so good for getting rid of pimples thats already there. I use the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Gel wash, it's got 2% SA, which is the highest amount of SA available in 'over the counter' facial wash.
I bought the tinted version of this & it made my skin freak out. I had huge bumps under the skin! & they wouldnt go away. But i think im allergic to sulfur. Cause anything i use with sulfur makes my skin burn.
i would never use a bp wash. i use bp spot treatment though
i'm about to visit canada (montreal), is there any really good products that you recommend i should look for that i can't get in the US.
i have sensitive skin. allergic to sunscreen and benzyl peroxide.
thanks.
does this treat whiteheads?
Hey makeup lovers! Come check out my videos =)
could you maybe guess what would happen if i use this with benzoyl peroxide products? im using benzaclin, and it doesnt dry my face out, but it doesnt totally take care of everything.. what do you think will happen if i used the benzaclin all over my face, moisturized, and then used the acnomel as a spot treatment at night?? you seem to know a lot about the chemistry of it all. thanksss
Yeah, definitely. I've heard horror stories about going off benzoyl peroxide!
Yup, I do.
Ouch! Yeah, I don't get reactions like that, but I do get some pretty red skin and lots of flaking. I just hate that itchy, tight feeling I get from benzoyl peroxide.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Yeah, it's always a good idea to do a spot-test first to see how your skin will react!
=D SpectroJel, SpectroJel, SpectroJel. Um.. and anything from Neostrata, especially their moisturizers that contain AHAs. Neostrata products are available over the counter in Canada and are often prescribed by dermatologists because they're like medical-grade cosmeceuticals. I think in the States you need a prescription, though, which would mean having to visit a dermatologist. =D And also! Poutine. =D
Nope, I don't think so..
It's always tricky when it comes to 'layering' products. Sometimes you get something that works brilliantly, and sometimes it's disastrous. I'd recommend your normal routine, and then trying Acnomel to spot-treat one zit. See how your skin takes to it, and it it's more effective than Benzaclin alone (i.e. zits on the rest of your face with only Benzaclin). If you have super sensitive skin, I'd spot-test the two layers on an area like behind your ear or under your chin where it won't show.
thanks:) i'm gonna give it a try IF i can find it.
wow i've never heard of this!
I'll def have to try this out.
proactiv has that sulphur mask i wanted to try so i gess i'll get this instead.
I have the cln&clr spot treatment and that doesnt really work at all for me.
btw if you aren't wearing foundation, I can totally see a difference in how clear your face is, i think
how long have you been using this?
Um.. a few months? =D
did u try tea tree oil? thats the only thing that worked for me. u can find the 100% one at SDM. Mix some drops with a cup of water and use as toner. U can also use the 100% one as spot treatment. Its natural and it doesnt dry. Give it a try. Good luck!
youve been doing so many reviews.
how about tutorials?
THanks a bunch. I'll def. look for them.
not trying to be mean about where you live but im just saying it must suck shopping in canda because everything cost more there compared to here in the US.
lol That's true, it's usually the case. We hardly EVER have BOGO sales! =) We do have some lovely brands that aren't stocked in the US, though, such as Annabelle. =D The public health care isn't bad, either!
oh well yea, thats cool!
